Airbnb, DoorDash exceed IPO valuation expectations – report
Both Airbnb and Doordash, which are starting their investor roadshows next week ahead of their initial public offerings (IPOs) are now being valued higher than they had initially expected, the Wall Street Journal reported.
Airbnb’s valaution is now seen between $30 billion and $33 billion, according to people familiar with the matter while DoorDash’s valuation is in the $25 billion to $28 billion range. The figures take into account fully diluted share counts.
Earlier, Airbnb was valued at up to $30 billion and DoorDash was valued at up to $25 billion. Both companies are set to have their IPOs in mid-December.
