Attack on Erbil, Iraq aimed at Mossad bases – report
The missile attack that hit the United States consulate in Erbil, Iraq was targeting bases owned by Mossad, the Israeli intelligence agency, according to reports from Iraqi media on Sunday. Unnamed members of Iraqi security forces claimed the bases are “an advanced training center.”
Up to 14 missiles hit facilities near the Erbil airport, reports stated. There is still no official confirmation that the attack was launched from Iran, nor information about potential casualties or the extent of the damage.
