Australia’s PM wants to reopen country faster
Australia’s Prime Minister Scott Morrison (pictured) is considering lifting the containment measures placed across the nation to limit the spread of the COVID-19 sooner than previously planned.
According to the Australian Financial Review, Morrison has halted his talks of a six-month economic “hibernation” and is thinking of having its states reopen businesses faster.
Previously, Morrison noted the country is heading towards a virus-safe economy, as his government is considering several economic reforms to aid in the mitigation of the outbreak’s effects on the nation’s economy.
