Austria confirms Vienna shooter acted alone
Austria’s Federal Minister of the Interior Karl Nehammer (pictured) confirmed on Wednesday that the alleged perpetrator of the Vienna shooting had acted alone, citing an investigators’ “analysis of the video recordings.”
Speaking at a press conference, he added that the investigation was in “full swing.” Nehammer went on to reveal that the persons arrested on Tuesday are from 18 to 28 years old and that all have “migrant background.”
Also, he said that there had been “an apparent miscommunication” between Austrian agencies and officials when their Slovakian counterparts warned them about an unsuccessful attempt by the apparent shooter to acquire ammunition in Slovakia in July.
