Belgium announces partial lockdown over coronavirus
Starting from Monday, all cafes and restaurants in Belgium will close for four weeks due to a rise in the number of coronavirus cases in that country, while a nationwide curfew from midnight to 5:00 am will also go into effect.
Over 10,000 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Belgium on Friday, the highest tally in the country since the beginning of the virus outbreak earlier this year.
The Netherlands also announced a new partial lockdown earlier this week, while France introduced a public health emergency amid a surge in new infections.
