Berrettini through to Wimbledon final after beating Hurkacz
Italy’s Matteo Berrettini advances to the final of the Wimbledon Grand Slam tournament after winning the semifinal match against Poland’s Hubert Hurkacz on Friday,
In a four-set match, Berrettinig won three with scores of 6-3, 6-0, 6-4 and lost one game by 6-7 (3-7). Berrettini made history becoming the first Italian player, male or female, to reach a singles final at Wimbledon.
In the final Wimbledon match Berrettini will be playing against either Novak Djokovic or Denis Shapovalov on Sunday.
