Bezos places more focus on Blue Origin – report
Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon and Blue Origin, has doubled within the last month the time he dedicates to the space company from one session per week to two: on Tuesday and Wednesdays, CNBC reported on Monday citing sources familiar with the matter.
After stepping down as Amazon’s CEO, Bezos is also looking into ways the online retail giant can interact with Blue Origin, such as the launch of Kuiper internet satellites.
The report comes at a busy time for Blue Origin as the company is contesting a lost contract with NASA to competitor SpaceX. Additionally, multiple rocket projects are allegedly years behind schedule.
