Biden picks 3 Fed Board nominees
United States President Joe Biden will name former Federal Reserve Governor Sarah Bloom Raskin (pictured) to be the Federal Reserve’s next vice chair of supervision, with labor markets-focused economists Lisa Cook and Philip Jefferson tapped to serve on its Board of Governors, CNBC and Politico reported citing sources.
“President Biden has nominated a serious, qualified, nonpartisan group of five nominees for the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve who together will bring an extraordinary amount of skill, experience, and competence to the Federal Reserve,” the sources told Politico.
