Biden vows to ensure free vaccine for all if elected
Democratic presidential hopeful Joe Biden said on Friday that, as president, he would ensure that every American is able to get a coronvirus vaccine for free if and when one is developed.
“I tell you what, if one is found, I would make sure that every single person in America is able to get a vaccine, period, without any cost,” Biden told CNBC. He added he would also enable free COVID-19 testing for everyone.
Biden, who is currently ahead of President Donald Trump in nationwide polls, warned that the US economy still has a “long way” to go before it recovers from the coronavirus shock.
