Biden: You need to pay workers, saying thanks not enough
Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden criticized on Monday the current administration, claiming that workers in the United States need to be paid rather than just thanked.
“It’s not enough to just thank our essential workers — we need to pay them,” Biden tweeted, and that added that, as president, he would “raise the minimum wage to $15, end the tipped minimum wage, end the sub-minimum wage for people with disabilities, and ensure everyone has strong benefits.”
The US Vice President Mike Pence has criticized Biden earlier today, accusing him of costing some 70,000 US citizens their jobs.
