Biden’s doctor confirms he has minor foot fracture
United States President-elect Joe Biden fractured his foot and will be wearing a walking boot for several weeks, his doctor, Kevin O’Connor, confirmed.
“Initial x-rays did not show any obvious fracture, but his clinical exam warranted more detailed imaging. Follow-up CT scan confirmed hairline (small) fractures of President-elect Biden’s lateral and intermediate cuneiform bones, which are in the mid-foot,” Dr. O’Connor said.
Earlier, Biden’s office stated he decided to visit a doctor after twisting his ankle while playing with his dog.
