Binance introduces new anti-money laundering checks
Cryptocurrency exchange Binance announced on Friday it will introduce new customer checks to help support its anti-money laundering efforts.
The new measures will be imposed immediately and will require all new users to “complete Intermediate Verification to access Binance products and service offerings, including cryptocurrency deposits, trades and withdrawals.”
Meanwhile, existing users will have their accounts changed to “Withdraw Only” until they complete the Intermediate Verification.
