Bitcoin climbs above $40,000 after Tudor Jones’ comments
The price of Bitcoin continued to climb on Monday, reaching $40,000 again after more than two weeks as Paul Tudor Jones, billionaire hedge fund manager and founder of Tudor Investment Corporation, endorsed the cryptocurrency.
After Elon Musk’s remarks about the crypto, Tudor Jones lauded Bitcoin as “a portfolio diversifier,” describing it as a way to “protect wealth” long-term.
Bitcoin soared 12.83% selling for $40,604.48 at 9:53 am ET, while Ethereum concurrently added 8.47%, going for $2,560.62.
