Bitcoin rose sharply on Friday, gaining more than 6% over the 24-hour period, to climb above the $57,000 mark once again after having last stood at that figure 10 days ago.
Earlier today, the CEO of Ripple Labs accused the United States of failing to provide regulatory clarity on cryptocurrencies as opposed to certain Asian countries, but the investors seemed to have shrugged off the concerns regarding the crypto regulations.
Bitcoin surged 6.68% during the past 24 hours, selling for $57,125.00 at 12:03 pm ET, while the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency, ether, lost 0.73% to sell for $2,741.87 a minute later after having reached an all-time high a day ago.
