Blockchain.com moves to Miami, announces ‘aggressive hiring’
Blockchain.com revealed on Thursday that it will move the company’s headquarters from New York to Miami, announcing “aggressive hiring all through the native Miami job market.”
The enlargement and relocation plans, as the company dubbed the move, will include 100 new employees in 2021, and 200 more in the following year, the official statement read.
“Because of a robust relationship with the native authorities, we’re honored to affix the Miami enterprise neighborhood,” Blockchain.com CEO Peter Smith said. “The web would be the largest financial system on the planet by 2030, and crypto is the monetary system constructed to help it. The Metropolis of Miami acknowledges the trade’s potential, and we look ahead to contributing to Miami’s wealthy innovation ecosystem,” he added.
