Brexit talks going ‘bit better than expected’ – report
The talks between the European Union and the United Kingdom are going “a bit better than expected,” Sky News reported on Tuesday.
“Was decided in June there would be informal talks before the 9th round (next week). EU source tells me that talks have been going a bit better than expected & there is a ‘window of opportunity’ (subject to the full application of [Withdrawal Agreement]),” Beth Rigby, the news organization’s political editor tweeted.
Supposedly, Brussels’ chief negotiators Michel Barnier (pictured) is set to join negotiations tomorrow and will leave on Friday.
