China conducts security review at Didi offices
A total of seven Chinese regulatory agencies carried out “network security reviews” at the offices of Didi Chuxing Technology Co., China’s Cyberspace Administration (CAC) revealed on Friday.
Regulators from the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of State Security, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Transport, the State Administration of Taxation and the State Administration of Market Regulation were involved in the inspection alongside the CAC.
The company is officially under a cybersecurity investigation that followed its initial public offering (IPO) in the United States.
