China hopes next Afghan gov’t will be inclusive
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying (pictured) said on Friday that Beijing hopes that the next Afghanistan government will be “inclusive” and “representative.”
The new government should pursue “moderate policies” and “meet expectations of the Afghan people and the international society,” she told reporters, according to the Global Times.
China also took note of negotiations between different parties about the future of the war-torn country, Hua pointed out.
