China’s Xi vows to bolster ties with N. Korea
Chinese President Xi Jinping in a letter to North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un vowed to work on strengthening relations between Beijing and Pyongyang, according to the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
In the letter, Xi reportedly expressed his wish to raise bilateral ties to a whole “new level.”
The news comes amid North Korea’s stalemate in nuclear negotiations with Washington.
