Chinese SMIC wants talks with US govt after ban talk
Chinese semiconductor company SMIC stated on Monday that it wants constructive talks with the United States government after a report claimed that the Trump administration was planning to introduce new sanctions on it.
The company added that it has no links to the Chinese military and that it only makes products for civilian and commercial end-users.
Earlier, a report said that SIMC and oil and gas company CNOOC will be added to a blacklist of companies the US believes are linked to the Chinese military.
