Colgate-Palmolive’s net sales up 6.5% in Q3 to $4.4B
Colgate-Palmolive Company revealed on Friday that its net sales in the third quarter of fiscal 2021 amounted to $4.4 billion, 6.5% higher compared to the same period in 2020.
In the trimester ending with September 30, 2021, diluted earnings per share (EPS) dropped 7% on an annualized basis to $0.75. Operating profit declined 5% to $967 million, while net income attributable to the company stood at $634 million, decreasing 9% year over year from the third three-month period in 2020.
“We are encouraged by our performance this quarter, but as we look around the world, there is still much uncertainty stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic, supply chain disruptions and volatility in consumer demand and currencies,” Chairman, President and CEO Noel Wallace commented in the report.
Colgate-Palmolive was 0.10% down in premarket trade after the third-quarter results were released.
