Coronavirus cases top 16 million globally

The overall number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 grew over 16 million on Saturday, data showed.

Currently, there are 5,567,843 active cases out of a total of 16,000,286.

Meanwhile, 10,432,443 were closed, with 9,788,603 people having recovered from the virus and 643,840 cases ending in death.
