COVID-19 situation still fragile – WHO
World Health Organization’s Europe director Hans Kluge warned on Thursday that countries should proceed cautiously with reopening their borders, asserting that the situation with the coronavirus pandemic is still “fragile.”
“Right now, in the face of a continued threat and new uncertainty, we need to continue to exercise caution, and rethink or avoid international travel,” Kluge said.
Yesterday, the European Union reported that its member states reached an agreement on reopening borders for those that have been fully vaccinated.
