Debate moderator Scully denies tweeting about Trump
Steven Scully (pictured right), a Political Editor for C-SPAN and the moderator of the United States presidential debate scheduled for October 22, denied on Friday that he has written the tweet in which he allegedly commented on the Incumbent President Donald Trump.
C-SPAN TV network published a statement claiming that “Steve Scully did not originate the tweet,” and asserted that Scully’s Twitter account “has been hacked.”
Earlier in the day, Trump blasted Scully, describing him as a “NeverTrumper,” and stressing that he won’t do a good job as a debate moderator.
