Disney cuts Facebook ad spending – report
Walt Disney Company slashed its spending for advertisement on Facebook over concerns about its content policy, The Wall Street Journal reported.
According to research firm Pathmatics Inc, Disney has been Facebook’s top advertiser for the first six months of 2020, with an estimated $210 million spent on marketing on the tech giant’s platforms.
Numerous companies such as Coca-Cola, Ford, Microsoft, and Lego previously banned their ads on Facebook due to disagreements with its marketing and content moderation policies.
