Dogecoin surges over 17% on Musk’s comments
The price of Dogecoin soared more than 17% to $0.388 on Thursday following a tweet posted by billionaire Elon Musk, who asked “How much is that Doge in the window?”
After the cryptocurrency market registered a massive sell-off over the previous day, the world’s major cryptos such as Bitcoin and Ether started recovering some losses. Bitcoin rose barely over $40,000, while Ether climbed above $2,700 at 7:12 am ET.
