Dollar slips vs euro, yen as consumer confidence dips
The United States dollar traded lower versus both the euro and the Japanese yen on Friday after a report by the University of Michigan showed a 13.5% drop in consumer confidence in the country, as measured by the Consumer Sentiment Index.
The dollar traded 0.61% lower compared to Japan’s national currency, going for 109.7645 at 11:53 am ET, while the euro advanced by 0.56% versus the greenback, selling for 1.17957 a minute later.
