Domino’s Pizza to open 5,000 job positions in UK
Domino’s Pizza, Inc. announced it would create 5,000 new jobs in the United Kingdom, which would include chefs, delivery drivers and customer service employees. It will also support the UK government’s work placement scheme with 1,000 openings for young workers.
The company’s CEO Dominic Paul stated that the work placement apprentices would also have access to training sessions focusing on “employability skills,” and that they would be paid “in line with current store pay levels.” Domino’s has already created around 6,000 jobs during the coronavirus pandemic, according to the Guardian.
