Duda, Borrell caution against no-fly zone in Ukraine
Both High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell and Polish President Andrzej Duda (pictured) warned on Sunday that an establishment of a no-fly zone over the skies of Ukraine would lead to a new world war.
Duda gave an interview for BBC, while Borrell expressed his stance while talking with a Barcelona-based daily El Periodico.
“The use of weapons of mass destruction would be a game-changer,” Duda told the British outlet, adding that the NATO would have to take “a hard look” at its next steps if evidence emerges that Moscow’s forces have been using chemical weaponry.
