Election-related ads appear on Facebook due to regular delay
Facebook Inc. stated on Wednesday that numerous election-related ads that are still listed as “active” in its political ads library in spite of the post-election ban on political ads going into effect are due to regular delay.
The company asserted it can take up to 24 hours to reflect changes in the library.
The company said earlier today that it decided to add labels to social media posts by both United States presidential candidates in order to make sure everybody understands that election vote counts are still on the run.
