Euro area CPI above estimates at 4.1% in October
Euro area annual inflation is expected to be 4.1% in October, according to a preliminary report by Eurostat published on Friday. The figure beat estimates that put the inflation at 3.7%.
Energy prices are expected to increase the most at 23.5% in October compared to the same month in 2020, followed by services at 2.1%, non-energy industrial goods at 2%, and food, alcohol and tobacco at 2%.
