FAA to probe Boeing 787 production lapses – report
The United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is reviewing data on Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner potential manufacturing lapses, The Wall Street Journal reported on Monday, citing a government memo and sources close to the matter.
The FAA’s quality-control check is expected to be extensive, and could stretch back “almost a decade,” the report read.
The aviation company has come under intense scrutiny after its 737 MAX model has been involved in two different accidents in under 6 months, resulting in 346 casualties.
