FDA to approve Pfizer jab for 5-11 year olds today – report
The United States Food and Drug Administration will approve the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for kids aged between 5 and 11 years on Friday, according to a report published by the New York Times.
Around 28 million American children will become eligible to take the proportionally smaller dose starting from November 3 if the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention also give the green light.
Children will receive a third of the dose used in adults through two shots given three weeks apart.
