Foreign travelers crossing US land borders must be vaccinated – DHS
The United States will require all non-US individuals entering the country via land ports of entry and ferry terminals to be fully vaccinated against the COVID-19, the Department of Homeland Security announced in a statement.
The new requirement, effective Saturday, January 22, applies to essential workers as well as people traveling for non-essential reasons.
“These updated travel requirements reflect the Biden-Harris Administration’s commitment to protecting public health while safely facilitating the cross-border trade and travel that is critical to our economy,” said Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas (pictured).
