France adds 19,927 new COVID cases, 252 deaths
French medical authorities recorded 19,927 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, according to the data that the country’s Public Health Agency posted on Thursday. The test positivity rate stood at 3.2%.
During the same period, there have been 252 new deaths attributed to COVID-19, bringing the number of fatalities registered since the start of the pandemic to 64,632.
France currently has the fifth-highest case count in the world, with 2,620,425 infections observed to date.
