France announces 242 new COVID-19 fatalities
France has reported 242 new deaths from the coronavirus on Sunday, a significant drop in the number of daily fatalities, in line with other European countries, like Italy, the UK and Spain.
The country’s total number of infections now stands at 191,743.
French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe is set to present the government’s strategy for reopening the country following its coronavirus lockdown, AFP reported.
