France to receive 12M vaccine doses in April – Veran
French Health Minister Olivier Veran (pictured) said on Tuesday that 12 million coronavirus vaccine doses will be delivered to the country this month.
Speaking before the National Assembly, he specified that the delivery, which will include eight million doses of the Pfizer Inc.-BioNTech SE vaccine, will help vaccination centers expand their capacity, and in turn, the country’s overall inoculation rate.
Last week, French Secretary of State for Economy and Finance Agnes Pannier-Runacher revealed that the government aims to vaccinate 30 million people by the end of June.
