French economy to grow 10% by 2023: ECB’s Villeroy
Governor of the Bank of France Francois Villeroy de Galhau (pictured) stated on Friday that he expects the country’s economy to grow 10% overall in 2021 and 2022.
The official noted that easing the debt burden will require time and growth, asserting that pre-pandemic debt cannot be canceled.
Earlier in June, Villeroy said that the European Central Bank stimulus should be extended at least as much as the one created by the United States Federal Reserve.
