G7 leaders to discuss COVID-19 on Monday
The Group of Seven (G7) leaders are set to discuss the coronavirus outbreak and further measures in an attempt to curb its impact in a video conference on Monday, French President Emmanuel Macron said on Friday.
“After an exchange with @realDonaldTrump and G7 leaders, we will be holding an extraordinary G7 conference call by videoconference this Monday on Covid-19. We will coordinate our efforts on the vaccine and treatments, and work on an economic and financial response,” Macron tweeted.
Italy, Japan, France, United Kingdom, United States, Germany, and Canada are expected to participate in the talks on future actions.
