German 7-day incidence rate sets another record
The German seven-day COVID-19 incidence rate has risen to its highest level since the pandemic began with 1227.5 cases seen per 100,000 inhabitants, according to data compiled by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI).
The nationwide death toll reached 118,170 in the meantime, with another 196 fatal outcomes attributed to the virus, while the total number of infections rose by the nation’s second-highest figure of 208,498 to a total of 10,186,644.
