German arrivals portal created for pandemic hacked – report
Germany’s portal for reporting arrivals into the country has been hacked, Bild reported on Monday. The portal was created during the COVID-19 pandemic to register entries into Germany.
The website, managed by Germany’s Federal Printer (BDr), is unreachable and says: “The traveler portal is currently not available. Please try again at a later date or fill out a replacement form. In the event of technical difficulties, you are obliged to use the replacement notification in paper form. Travelers are responsible for obtaining (downloading and printing) the replacement notification.”
The BDr added it is working on the issue. However, no official comments have been made in relation to the alleged hack.
