Germany trade surplus at €18B in July
Germany’s foreign trade surplus amounted to €18.0 billion in July, data released by the country’s Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) showed on Tuesday.
Exports during the month fell 11% year-over-year to €102.3 billion. Compared to the last month, the figure marked a 4.7% increase. Meanwhile, imports stood at €83.1 billion, or 11% lower year-on-year and 1.1% higher versus June.
