Germany’s COVID cases up by 21,866, 215 deaths

The number of coronavirus cases in Germany increased by 21,866 in the last 24 hours, according to a Robert Koch Institute (RKI) update on Thursday. The total number of infections now stood at 727,553.

Deaths from COVID-19 were up by 215 in a day. Since the start of the pandemic, 11,982 people have died of the virus in Germany.
