Google suspends Trump’s YouTube account
YouTube revealed it has temporarily suspended President Donald Trump’s account on its platform after the head of state was accused of inciting his supporters to enter the Capitol building last week.
The Google-owned company said it will prevent the president’s channel from uploading new content for a minimum of 7 days, while also indefinitely disabling comments under all of his videos. “After review, and in light of concerns about the ongoing potential for violence, we removed new content uploaded to Donald J. Trump’s channel for violating our policies,” YouTube said.
The move comes after the president already received a ban on both Twitter and Facebook.
