Hancock: Vaccines for most vulnerable by Feb 15
British Health Secretary Matt Hancock stated on Wednesday the government was planning to offer the people labeled as “most vulnerable” a chance to be inoculated against COVID-19 by February 15.
“I hope that the vast majority of people will take up those offers. There has been a sharp increase in people planning to take vaccine,” he told Sky News. Hancock added the restrictions imposed to curb the spread of the virus would remain “in place not a moment longer than necessary.”
Earlier this month, Hancock warned Britons were “highly likely” to need a dual vaccination against COVID-19 every year for the “foreseeable” future.
