House Dems investigating Postmaster DeJoy – report
House Democrats have launched an investigation into Postmaster General Louis DeJoy (pictured), the Washington Post reported on Tuesday.
According to Chairwoman of the Oversight and Reform Committee Carolyn Maloney, the investigation is looking into claims DeJoy violated campaign finance laws by reimbursing former employees for campaign contributions to Republican politicians, the newspaper said.
Maloney called for the postmaster’s “immediate suspension,” stating that he faces “criminal exposure” if the claims are determined to be true, WaPo wrote.
