Houthi drone targeting Saudi airport intercepted – report
The Saudi-led Arab coalition intercepted a drone on Saturday that was believed to be targeting the Abha International Airport close to the Yemeni border, Arab News reported.
Initial reports said the drone belonged to Yemeni Houthis, but the attack is yet to be claimed.
Earlier this week, Houthis claimed a drone attack at the Abha airport after a civilian airplane caught fire. At the time, the Houthis said the drone attack was a response to “continued aerial bombardment and the brutal siege” of Yemen by the Saudi-led coalition.
