Imported cases in S. Korea hit another record
Record breaking 409 imported coronavirus infections were detected in South Korea from the country’s 4,542 daily COVID-19 cases, according to the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC).
The total number of people who tested positive for the virus has increased to 683,566, as virus-related deaths reached 6,259, rising by 49 over the course of the day. The fatality rate came to 0.92%.
