India virus count increases by 34,884
After reporting 34,884 new cases of the coronavirus, India’s total number of infections rose to 1,038,716, according to official data from the country’s Health and Family Welfare Ministry.
As part of the same update, officials noted 671 more people died from COVID-19, raising the total death toll to 26,273. Recoveries from the virus were reported at 653,751.
India surpassed the 1 million mark of coronavirus cases yesterday.
