Iran determined to uphold balanced foreign policy – Mousavi
Tehran is determined to uphold its longstanding policy of “balanced” relations with all with Eurasian nations, spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry Abbas Mousavi (pictured) stated on Saturday.
“Iran has a longstanding policy of maintaining balanced, friendly relations with all Eurasian and [East/South] Asian powers. Our potential long-term cooperation agreements with China and Russia, and our continued joint work with India in Chabahar prove this,” Mousavi wrote on Twitter.
Earlier, Mousavi said that Iran wants to engage in talks with Saudi Arabia and other countries in the region, albeit without “foreign intervention.”
